We are happy to announce that STRAINS was selected for a new funding under the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programme!
The next call for applications (for the student intake 2027-2029) will open in autumn 2026. Exact dates are still to be determined and will be shared in due time.
The website is slowly being updated with the new project's information (including new courses and mobility tracks) and should be finalised in the coming months.
Erasmus Mundus scholarships
Students who apply to the STRAINS programme automatically apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
This scholarship will be a contribution to the costs incurred by the students of this programme and shall cover travel, visa, installation and subsistence costs. It is calculated on the basis of a monthly unit cost for the entire period needed by the enrolled scholarship holder to complete the study programme (pro-rata of the actual number of days). This period covers study, research, placement activities, thesis preparation and defence, in line with the requirement of our programme.
The scholarship is awarded for full-time enrolment, and will cover the entire duration of the Master programme (maximum 24 months).
Students who have previously obtained an Erasmus Mundus scholarship are not eligible to apply for an additional scholarship under an EMJM.
